Notes on Conky!

You can use the aliases for RGB colors in /etc/X11/rgb.txt.
You can easily restart conky (to see changes) with killall -SIGUSR1 conky

To set the X position of AvantWindowNavigator, use gconf-editor and adjust the apps/avant-window-navigator/bar/bar_pos value.

To set it in the middle of my second monitor, .8 looks about right.

To recursively delete files:

To list first before deleting:
find /path -type f -name "Thumbs.db" -lsfin

RecursiveRename

This can recursively rename files. This changes the extension from .zip to .cbz:

find $directory f -iname '*.zip' -exec rename 's/\.zip$/\.cbz/i' {} +

Replace $directory as appropriate. The directory can contain wildcards.
